How can I get my headlights perform like BMW or Lexus?

I don't like how they're yellow and not really sharp on my FRS. Is there just a certain bulb I need to insert or would I need to get a certain something from the theretrofitsource.com?

I want to get that white, clear, sharp BMW headlight look and performance or how Lexus has it.

Also the DRLs being yellow is no good as well. Anyway to fix that as well?

You need to get an HID Kit. I suggest something from Diode Dynamics! Look at temperatures too. I.e.:

4300k is warm white (hint of yellow)
5000k is pure white
6000k is cool white (a tiny hint of blue)

Then you can go as far as putting a Halo in the housing or whatever you would like!

The easiest way is to get yourself a pair of Monogram/RS/10-Series headlights with the factory HIDs. Expensive, but totally worth it.

TheRetrofitSource Retro-Quik for Scion FRS

Use this with a 5K Bulb. You will need to bake open your headlight, or have someone install them for you if you are not comfortable enough doing it. Totally worth it though.

if you don't want to deal with LEDs/HIDs (retrofits) then go buy the Phillips Diamond Vision bulbs for both your DRLs and low beams

It will give you a luxury white bulb look with a slight hint of exotic blue

Anything else I would need to purchase with it? They give so many options.

Alternatively, the Morimoto 2Stroke kit LED has been working exceptionally for me. Same brilliant white output, not quite as powerful as HIDs but a significant improvement over stock.

To top it all off, no need to retrofit or modify the stock headlights. Haven't had anyone get mad at me for blinding them but my visibility has drastically improved.

A full HID retrofit would be needed for an OEM like cutoff, most likely a D2S retrofit.

^ This.

Please dont be one of those assholes on the road who likes to blind everyone because their shitty headlights dont have the proper cutoff.

You need to select each option you want in the drop down boxes. You won't need to order anything outside of those. If you have any questions, you can call them. They have some of the best customer service available.

Interesting, can you show us how's the cut off? It looks good and simple bolt on.

I am constantly blinded by guys in pickup trucks with their fuckin neon-glowing pearlescent white from the heavens lights in my rearview. I don't want to be one of those guys but definitely any improvement to the yellow bulb is nice.

I'll try to take a photo tonight but I'm not sure if I can get an accurate photo of it. I've got a pretty steep driveway so I won't be able to get the appropriate 20ft to show it in my garage. At the very least you'll be able to see the pattern it makes.

I've been really meticulous about checking my pattern on other cars in front of me. It rarely goes above the bumper of a car 20 feet away and I've never seen it glint off of the side mirrors or rear view mirror. Haven't had any oncoming cars flash their high beams at me either.
