My 2013 Dark Grey Metallic BRZ build

How's it going everyone? Thought I'd start my build thread since parts are starting to arrive.
Got my 6 speed manual 2013 Dark Grey Metallic BRZ at the end of December and I absolutely love it!
I plan on on going supercharged eventually but I'm sticking with catless full exhaust, tune, drop in filter and a few things on the exterior and interior for now.

So far:
Engine:
GFB lightweight pulley kit
Crawford Air Oil Separator
Shorai lightweight lithium iron battery

Exhaust:
Borla UEL header
Perrin over pipe
HKS dual resonated front pipe
3" Perrin resonated cat back
Torque Solutions exhaust mounting kit

Suspension:
ISC Suspension N1 coilovers
Stance Adjustable Lower Control Arms

Perrin 22mm rear sway bar
Kartboy rear sway bar endlinks
Spencer Fabrication Company rear brace

Intake:
Sound tube delete kit
Perrin drop in air filter

Appearance:
HID LED fog lights, red interior lights, red door lights, white trunk light, reverse light and white rear plate lights. All of which are HID LEDs.
Red footwell lighting kit
LED strip inside the trunk
Smoked front corner turn signals
Hexomat front rubber floor mats
GrimmSpeed license plate relocate kit
GrimmSpeed hood struts

cQuarts coating
Rally Armor mud flaps
Valenti smoked tail lights and reverse light
OEM Rear diffuser
Kinetic Custom Machine aluminum battery mount

Wheel and tires:
Rays Gram Lights gunmetal 57dr 17x9 +38 offset
Hankook Ventis v12s 245/45/17

Breaks:
Stoptech Front and Rear slotted discs
Stoptech Front and Rear pads
Stoptech Front and Rear Stainless Steel braided break lines
Perrin master cylinder brace

Maintenance:
Magnetic plugs for oil, trans and diff
Motul Gear Oil 300 for trans and diff

Should be fun putting all this stuff on!
Here's my beauty after cQuarts coating and wax!

Got the Perrin overpipe today 1-22-14!

On jack stands for the first time! About to change the diff and trans fluid! Ended up doing some exhaust too!

Stuff everywhere!

Borla UEL header

Borla header to Perrin over pipe

GrimmSpeed front plate relocate kit. Gotta get the dremel out and trim the GrimmSpeed license plate frame because in Texas the actual word Texas has to be completely visible.

Ordered a custom plate today.

Got my Stance adjustable lower control arms in today! 1/28/14

Perrin 3" catback, Perrin 22mm sway and Stance adjustable control arms.

ISC N1 front coilover

ISC N1 upper front camber plate

LED fog lights

Red LED interior

LED strip in trunk

Valenti smoked tails and reverse light! Lookin clean!
Also, the Perrin 4" tips on the 3" catback with the OEM rear diffuser underneath.

Night time

A little playing around with the night time pic.

Water beading action thanks to cQuarts coating and wax.

First drive after everything was feeling like it should.

Did my first dyno pull with my mods on. 190 hp and 154 torque! Definitely gotta get a tune soon!

Did a new video with the HKS front pipe.

New wheels and tires! Gram Lights 57DRs 17x9 +38 offset in gunmetal blue. Hankook ventus v12 evo tires 245/45/17.

Got my Rays center caps in on my Gram Lights 57DRs

Close up of the Rays center caps with the black Muteki lugs

Crawford air oil separator and Kartboy rear sway bar endlinks.

Sports car issues! It barely fit in the back seat! It was tight!

Lookin clean!

Removed the 3rd brake light from the rear deck. Had to use a soldering iron to melt the plastic rivets. Now I need to get it covered.

Installed the GrimSpeed hood struts and Crawford air oil separator. Also installed the Perrin master cylinder brace, light weight pullies and rear diffuser.

Better look at the Crawford air oil seperator.

Perrin master cylinder brace

Kinetic Custom Machine aluminum battery mount and Shorai lightweight lithium iron battery.

Installed the custom rear body brace made by Spencer Fabrication Company! I found the company on Facebook and they do this rear brace and a few other things for the BRZ/FRS platform. Very high quality work!
The back seat is kept and still functional. It was a bit of work but totally worth it!
Had to modify the rear trunk mat a bit, the foam under that mat and those trim pieces connected to the rear deck.. The all weather Subaru liner still fits because its flexible.

You can see the back seat is up and locked in place.

Definitely need to upgrade the cooling system with radiator and oil cooler.
Hope everyone enjoys and I look forward to your feedback!

Woke up for my night shift and it was like Christmas on the front porch!

Didn't have time to unbox any of it though. :-(

Wanted the low weight of the Tomei pipe plus, I prefer the Perrin sound and double exit. A single exit with notches in the bumper for a double looks silly to me.

Haha I get that a lot with my type 80 I'm thinking of doing a custom job to maybe plug the other side so it looks normal

Ft86speedfactory.com sells a block off for the other side of the exhaust so you can buy a single and not look stupid with two cut outs :P

Thanks! I'm trying to keep it classy and more performance related.
I just wish the brake upgrade options weren't so dang pricey! Besides pads and rotor upgrades, the bigger brake kits are crazy expensive!

Worked on the car a bit yesterday. Was just going to change the diff and trans fluid as well as add better magnetic plugs but ended up doing some exhaust too!
Put on the Borla UEL header(super easy), Perrin over pipe, Tomei titanium front pipe and poly exhaust hangers. Tried to do the 3" Perrin cat back but one of the v-band clamps busted and sliced my finger pretty good! So had to put the stock cat back exhaust back on! Now, it sounds like crap! Oh well, ordered a new v-band clamp. Hopefully my coil overs will get here and I'll do em at the same time!
Put in the Perrin air filter too! That sucker was a tight fit!
Oh, and yes! The exhaust is now very smelly with no cats!
Thanks for reading!

Still trying to get the ride height correct but most of the parts are put ON! Been a rough few days under a car on jack stands! I'm sore like I did a 4 hour gym workout! It's a good kinda sore though!

My helper and long time since childhood friend Charlie!
