I'm on Motul 8100 Ecolite as it's easier to find here. However gotta say the Enos Sustina results from these UOAs is impressive.

If a persons looking at FI (turbo) fed from motor oil.. I would suspect the Motul being a heavier/thicker oil over the Sustina would be more fitting correct, or am I making a bad assumption?

The moly, boron, and calcium are all multi-functional additives so you're getting anti-wear protection from them as well.

Still here, I am interested in Sustina. I just like ZDDP, boron, and moly because you can measure them. With Sustina we have to trust their word 'cause a UOA does measure their advanced anti-wear compounds. I still haven't seen anyone install an oil pressure gauge, Sustina is a very light 0w20.

Notes:
  • ~6 track events + 1 autocross session
  • oil change at 7-month interval
  • almost no oil burned, drained 5.5 quarts at most recent oil change

Still on ENEOS Sustina 0W-20 with Cusco oil cooler.

So, just for clarification, was this UOA with Sustina, or just regular Eneos 0w-20?

Fantastic. Looks like you put Sustina to the test and it held up nicely. Multiple UOA's with consistent circumstances are the only thing that are useful. Flashpoint holds. TBN holds. Slight thinning. SUS 51.1/cSt 7.6 for me at 10k miles in a non gdi non tracked car. I think your oil cooler did its job. As an early, early Sustina guy, this is my favorite UOA of all time.

The silicon seems to be taking a while to drop. What air filter are you using?

I love it when people say that you have to change your oil before and after a track event. The TBN is way too high. How do we know that you didn't sneak some unused oil into your sample? Pretty amazing with this super low ZDDP oil. Add some zinc and maybe the iron will come down.

hahaha... nothing was added. I've been changing only because I'm sticking to a 6-month interval and the car's been sitting excessively in recent months.

But yes, I really just want to do this so that people can see what "changing the oil before a track event" yields. Rather it come from me than just some internet hearsay.
