Haha... yes! I should have put a smiley or winky on mine too. I was going for the "be niiiiice..." just for laughs.

Sorry, now I'm lost. ft? forum troll?

You pretty much have your answer. Dealer blew you off. That was a very early firmware tweak.

To be fare, other things could cause the issue. Or the previous owner could have flashed back to an older ROM for some reason. Perhaps they had an OFT, had the dealer flash it, and before selling, had OFT put it back to stock? Lots of stupid things can happen.

You should sue the dealer for being stupid.

Man I wish that was grounds for legal action, I would have put so many people in jail by now...

No I'm not trolling. I'm just really annoyed with my car right now my bad man. Since I picked up this car I've had several little annoying issues that I'm fixing every other week. This is just the most annoying issue I have with my car so far that I just want fixed!

Mine had the same problem after the second routine service , only worse , it would idle rough and stall.
I took it straight back and they read an idle failure code and did a reset , by battery disconnect/reconnect.
It took 200 kms to relearn fuel trim and idle and has been running perfectly since.
I can only assume that the young apprentice used toooo much throttle body cleaner and/or forgot to reconnect the MAF sensor.
For the next "free" service , I will request an experienced mechanic!

no no, you said ft first but I don't know what that means. I was sort of trolling but only because you had your answer.

It's all good.

I havn't tried cleaning my throttle body at all yet. I'm going to try just resetting the battery.

Does it happen 100% of the time or only when the A/C is on?

my car doesn't do it at all unless the A/C is on...

basically the compressor kicks in during the slow down with the clutch engaged (aka 0% fuel injection) and it makes the RPMs drop past idle causing it to stutter for a second before the car reintroduces fuel.

I wouldn't worry about it if this is the case.
