*Factory Center Console Arm Rest*
Just installed the Factory Arm Rest, ordered through Elmhurst Toyota.
PT478-18130 It required some drilling into the existing center console, and features a sliding mechanism which allows you to access your center console items as well. Very impressed by the design, and it matches everything well! No more hard center console to rest your elbow on!

I haven't seen this one before. I have the other "OEM" one that Nigel sells.

functionally, this one works great, but it looks un-finished leaving so much openings.

Ditto on the price tag. This one seems better in the sense that you don't have to open it, but it doesn't provide the clean look of the other one.

I saw this in an installation video on YouTube, but at the time I wasn't sure what kind of armrest this was and what region it was for.

Any chance I can see it in person? I've been really going back and forth on getting the one that flips open but it didn't look like it really was an armrest and more of a lid.
I'm in Edison Park but I'm game for a meet up anywhere reasonably close (<30mi) and talking cars over beers and wings if we can line up a few others local to the Chicago area. |

Would it be possible to flip the armrest portion? It looks backwards this way. I mean I get why they did it, but it just looks odd to me.
