People are always going to have thier own opinion on cars. If you think the Celica was a nice car then that's all that matters. Best of luck with your build.

Same username. Yup I've been a member there for 11+ years! I originally bought a 2000 GT when they first came out in 2001. Then bought a 2003 TRD GT...then a 2003 TRD GT-S. I seriously loved (and still do) those cars!

I used to own a Jap Spec Toyota Celica (the ones that had 147kw with TRD intake and TRD exhaust) in my uni days. The day i sold it and the buyer collected it and drove away from the train station where we met, i started crying. Seeing your Celica like that made that feeling come back

Back in 1975 I had a 1974 Toyota Celica put on over 150,000 miles before the engine (18R) gave-up in 1979. It was a great car, really liked it

So, I just saw an FR-S in the parking lot that has the LED strip as well on the bottom bumper. Is this suppose to be equivalent to the BRZ LED daytime running lights?

Oh, and welcome!

Sounds like you had a beauty. And seeing this thread makes me sad cause my Celica, but even happier cause my FR-S.

Yess I suppose it's equivalent to the BRZ, it was a dealer add on. They charged me $400 for them! But I didn't feel like waiting weeks for another Whiteout in my area. But I'll be ditching them pretty soon and getting some OEM fog's .
