Where can I get Rota RKR in 17x8et5 or 8.5et10???

What distributer can get me the Rota RK-R in 17x8" et5 or 8.5" et10, 5x100, as listed on their website?
http://www.rotawheels.com/wheel.php?id=100

I've nailed down my top decision to the RKR's over my top 3 choices - RPF1 17x9et35, 57DR 17x9et35, and the RKRs.

Yes, a little aggressive of an offset...but they're a thinner 8-8.5" ..and also many other people with 9-9.5" with low offset equivalents have been done easily many times already. Lastly, 8-8.5" should save some weight. I plan on -2 to -3 front camber anyways for track usage..so that will help with front poke considerably.

Yes, they are cheeseball/generic/fake Rota's..but I don't give a damn - they look friggin sweet and no one has them. Probably the only nice, feasible and warranted Rota's - since real Watanabes do not, and will never, come in 5x100 and in a low offset.

Black and low offset.... yummmm

Examples of what the lip-size and face-depth will look like in 8"et5 and 8.5"et10 (although, these are 15")

My plan = Takumi's wheels (RKRs) + Takumi's coilovers (RCE T2) ..lol.

I'll need to have Bunta dial in the RCE T2's.

It does pain me to admit it. But OP is right.

And watanabes are copies anyway. The real og design is the superlite made by performance wheels in Australia, since the 70s.

If anybody knows @WheelDude.com would be the one. http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=335_336_576&osCsid=3cd6b2075d87abd d5393641463f26e0d for the 18" version.

Didn't know that.

I remember a similar look, Panasports, were very popular in the 80s and 90s.

RKR's in 17"..but a little aggressive with -20et
http://www.legitmanila.com/toyota-86...t-bunny-white/

17" looks so much nicer than the 18" out front.

These in a 17x8et5-8.5et10 would be such the perfect wheel.

Nice find, awesome car, but of course yet another rocket bunny.

Don't think all the wheel specs are listed, cause to my eye, the fronts and rears are clearly different widths. The rear looks 9.5 or greater, the front 8.5 or less.

Check the 18x8.5 rear on @jsc1234 old build (I think he may have new wheels now). Loved it then, still love it now.

Here they are in 17x8.5
http://www.imageinmotion.com/ROTA02-RKR17x8.5.htm

and also on ebay in 5x114.3 in some crazy offset - Get 10mm project kicks 5x114 to 5x100 adapters to fit.

It's listed in there, at the bottom:
"Rims & Tires
Front Rims (Brand): Rota RKR-R
(Model): Rota RKR-R
(finish/color): Matte Black
(diameter): 18
(width): 9.5in
(offset): +42 with 35mm spacer

Rear Rims (Brand): Rota RKR-R
(Model): Rota RKR-R
(finish/color): Matte Black
(diameter): 17
(width): 9.5in
(offset): -20 with 15mm spacer"

As for that -10et in that ebay link ...that would definitely be too low an offset, lol

...BUT, an 8" +5et and 8.5" +10et would definitely fit with a mere -2 front camber... AND, they seem to make that size already in 5x100..or, at least it's listed as an available size/spec on the Rota RKR link/page.

The problem is...no one seem to have them in stock, or even knows if they were ever made, or shipped to the US.

IDK why no one stocks them or why no one knows if they were ever made...especially since they're clearly stated here:
http://www.rotawheels.com/wheel.php?id=100

My guess - these RKRs were made/released well before the release of the FRS/BRZ, and at the same time 5x100 was never a popular wheel pattern size for low-offset rwd type wheels before the twin was released. The RKRs were intended to be used on 4 lug cars and the AE86.

Result - Rota never fired up the kiln and pressed those RKRs in 5x100 in their listed specs and low offset, mainly because 5x100 wasn't popular (yet).

But, I bet those 5x100 8"et5 and 8.5"et10 wheel CADs and specs are definitely in their computer already, ready to be made...since they listed it on there.

I guess they just need to be convinced to make them. IDK how to convince them though lol.

I'm sure they'd sell pretty good with the popularity of the twin.

18" RKR is just too big for a classic design and doesn't fit the look. +42 is too high an offset. ..just make them dang 17" 8" and 8.5" 5x100 that are already listed I say

@DAEMANO and @diss7:
Got this direct reply from Rota (in the Philippines perhaps?). And, if anyone, they would know the best US distributor/vendor that can get these wheels in the aforesaid sizes/offsets.
