I went to Ikebukuro Amlux to closing on December 23, 2013.
Since the shift was to quick shift and when I boarded because there was a demo car of TRD, and I tried to take a video that could be compared to the normal.
Feel I touched the quick than it looks, and it is to be tailored more.
TRD quick shift, I recommend!

Please see if it is good if (^ ^) /

Since I already have a perrin rear shifter bushing I'd be paying $150 for just this adapter.

Has anyone tried this with a kartboy or bps ss?

With a lightweight shift knob, it feels really notchy. I tried the stock knob and it felt pretty smooth, shifts into gear easily.

I understand there are two different types, but he's specifically saying TRD "quickshifter" which makes me believe it's the same part.

That video only compared the TRD quick shift to the OEM shifter...

Didn't plan on buying this until I saw the price. Thanks for the heads up on the great deal!

They're both called quickshifter.

http://www.trdparts.jp/english/86_pe...owertrain.html

Since the video is in Japanese, I would assume that is the JDM quickshifter.

The USDM quickshifter is made in the USA. Says so right on the box.

Which makes me believe that is a lever in the video, and not an adaptor. Also, I would say after having the USDM quickshifter installed in my car , it's shorter than that video.

JDM 20% reduction.
USDM 30%+ reduction (really, it's short short)

Yes, just take the part number with you. And if you have a good relationship, you can ask them to price match another website. I still had to pay state tax, but my dealership just price matched this for me at $150 instead of the stated $175 price in their system. And I get 10% off everything, and points for parts purchased, so added bonus there for me.
