Here's a picture of my old one. Doesn't do it justice but that's only about 15 Kmi.

I've been mulling over this idea for a while.

I hear that one too, but I think it's linked to the pedal assembly. Definitely coming from inside the cabin, maybe the clutch release switch?

I'm confused, it's not a fix, but it solves the issue permanently?

You will not need to bleed the system to do this job.
So it can't be done from the top of the transmission?

The fluid we bled was clean and the one in the tank is brand-spankin' new (maybe 200 miles on it).

I lubricated every articulation I could find in the pedal assembly with WD40, and added some where the slave piston meets the fork actuator (which is dirty AF). Will report back if this helps.

not a fix in a sense that if i put it back to the original clutch pedal position, it would probably happen again.

It is the pedal assembly. Loosen and re-torque the screws holding it in place. It'll fix it for a while. I vaguely remember talk of a TSB but... Personally, I'd look for where the bracket isn't seating properly and, if I could find a point where tightening a screw forces a flex, I'd stick a washer in between it and the firewall.

I don't. The best way to learn is by just getting in there on your back with a flashlight. Service manual is your best friend. Look in my sig line. It'll be under drivetrain>clutch>clutch pedal>components

there, Mr.ac , maybe if you spent more time out on the lot, trying to sell those Civics, and less time sitting at your desk reading girlie magazines, that you keep in your top drawer, maybe you wouldn't be having those thoughts -
