I still see the car as mediocre; ho hum. If I stated that you should also, then that is wrong on me. I don't recall doing that, but who knows.

Negative equity is what primarily stops the trade in. As far as taking action, here's a quoted post of mine from March:

I've been actively looking for something to trade this car for since about 3 months of driving it. Again, hindsight 20/20
I lol'd that you thought my feelings were hurt. No, they aren't hurt, but keep thinking that if it helps your own feelings.

I don't believe perception of hearing is as varied as perception of feel, but whatever. Let me say that if one or two people out of a group of people complained that the volume on the TV was too loud, then I'd say, "tough shit, go somewhere else."

Once again, you see the car as mediocre; not our problem. You got upset when Tcoat said that a 6.4 second 0-60 MPH time was acceptable by today's standards. You were asserting that as if it were fact.

Good luck with your trade; hopefully you don't get buyer's remorse the next time around.

If you can't afford a house now, you can't afford to live in it after you save to get it? Does that make sense?

.
You have never owned a house have you? Yes you indeed may not be able to afford to live in it after you save to get it. A house is much like a Porsche and you need to be able to pay the upkeep. You don't just save and buy them and the cost ends there. You are so worried about comparing the couple of thousand difference in depreciation of a family sedan compared to sports car but think you just buy a $100,000 car and can keep it up for the price of a FRS. How cute.

None of these guys that stated the car was too slow for stop and go traffic have demonstrated the traffic flow that the 0 to 60 can't keep up with. Where the hell are they driving? Lemans?

I was quoted 6k including tune. 10k seems a bit much.

About 1 week ago I got into a little race with a new mustang GT and I kept up much better than I thought I would. He didn't destroy me off the line as much as I thought he would have. It wasn't till around 65-70 that he started to run away from me.
