Good info. So driving at sustained wide-open throttle with the ESC still fully installed, but boost disarmed for periods of time should be safe as well.

Oh yes on a proper tune thats not a problem. You have to remember the big difference is this only works at WOT so no drivability is touched during normal accel unlike other FI cars.

You tuned the WOT load cells so that they have the proper AFR and timing. When you aren't WOT it just uses the standard NA load AFR and timing.

This is the reason that the system actually works without a tune as well.

I've been creeping this thread since I wanna say Octoberish. Are we any closer to a release date?

Some questions if I may,
Can I get you to clarify what you meant by WOT load cells?
Does it actually move to the next engine load column at their respective rpm?
I haven't seen any logs yet, are you aware of any?

Last i heard from Rob he had the first batch of parts required to launch with the exception of the actual compressor wheels.

These he estimated delivery on Jan 26th. Once he gets the compressor wheels he has to assemble and test everything to ensure they meet his specifications.

What i mean is that when you go WOT(with the charger) the actual load to the engine is greater.... lets say this value is between 2 and 3. During these load cells the tune is richened to provide a nice safe AFR and timing for the increased boost.

Now if you were to go WOT without the charger on the load on the engine is less.... lets say 1 to 2.... during load cells 1 - 2 the engine runs as if it were just NA. Try not to think of this as only one number however... instead thing of it as like 1.01 - 1.99.

If the engine see's more load it puts in more fuel(calculated by the MAF).

In this case we inject more fuel when there is more flow and when the charger is not engaged we inject the standard amount of fuel.

I am not a tuner by any means but i have a basic understanding of how the engine calculates required fuel and ignition timing required. Rememember that on the top end we arent boost that much so the tune is very close to what it would be NA anyways....

Somebody like @shiv@vishnu should be able to describe this better than I

I have some logs. Would you like to see them?

Nice! Do you have any idea how big the first batch will be?

I'm super excited for the Spring!

We sell Camaro parts and FRS parts. It's been difficult calling it a header vs headers.
