which standard option would you like see in the 2014 BRZ
I personally am waiting for 2014, canceled my 2013 order at a dealership near me *i know sad huh*, just because i cant part from my 2003 civic lx that gets 37 mpg w/ 20$/month insurance.
i want to see as standard in 2014 -Steering wheel controls -armrest -more little compartments here and there (underneath the headlight leveler) -20hp more |

After a week with my BRZ, I can't see why you'd need steering wheel controls. Volume is easy enough to get to, and yes, changing stations may be easier, but I'm not playing around with audio multiple times per trip. I suppose an option for it would please everyone, but as a sports car, I'm cool without them.
Of course, I could just be weird. I never owned a cellphone until I graduated from university (2010) which drove my friends nuts, even though I'm in the tech industry. As per the armrest, I can sort of agree. I wish the area between the driver and passenger seat had a hinged top where I could keep stuff (iPod?) without the fear of it being in the open and having some desperate person smash my window for it. I don't think more compartments are needed as that space between the front seats has a lot of room for random crap, but to each their own. And really?!? More power? Wait until you drive the car! We know it's not a straight line demon, but I'd hazard to say it's just right. Numbers don't do it justice . If you wait for the 2014 model, the mid-cycle refresh will be around the corner, then the sti, then the next version, and so on. I'm not saying to get a car you don't want or doesn't meet your expectations, but this could be put off indefinitely. |

Seriously? An arm rest and 20 more hp? I would respectfully suggest these things are mutually exclusive.
You're waiting for a different car, these things won't be in a brz, frs, 86 anytime soon. If anything more hp will mean less creature comforts

I definitely want one to store somethings covered in the cabin like sunglasses and change for the parking meters. |

By the time you add Brembo brakes, more power (turbo?), you are looking at $30K+ easy.

I want to sell my 2012 Impreza as soon as possible, but steering wheel controls and different tires would make the BRZ more practical.

I'd like to see an STI version, with the same principles of fun, balance and handling being applied. I'd love to have a car that kicked a Cayman S' butt for half the money.

couldnt agree more..... plus rain guard option and factory Supercharger of course, which for scion would not be anything new but for BRZ not expecting that so much lol.

This car doesn't need more horsepower. People focus on that too much. It DOES NEED torque. It will be extremely useful pulling out of a sharp turn when you apply throttle to gain speed after apex.

5x114.3 hubs
A firmware update that makes the touchscreen nav more responsive and accurate. That's all I can add at the moment seeing as I don't even have the car yet.. That should change in less than a week though. |

^^ What he said ^^
I'm assuming nothing will change for the 2014 MY, but maybe for the 2016 redeux: -I want the touchscreen interface to suck less, considering it looks years behind my current interface whose design is 3 years old. -I doubt they'd ever change to 5x114.3 but it's a nice thought! -I want a "Limited Plus" package or something like that which puts the leather trim back on the speaker covers and center console surround. I actually kinda want the steering wheel controls, because it makes the wheel look more sophisticated. Don't ask me; I just think the stock wheel is a little plain. Oh, and smooth leather instead of perforated leather on the steering wheel! -Cleaner-looking seat heater buttons, like the ones used in the Legacy. The ones in the BRZ now are tacky parts-bin parts. -A jazzier key fob would be nice, too, instead of that Prius/Highlander/Rav4 parts bin key. -Ditch the Toyota parts-bin clock; it's so 2000. -AND RED TAIL LIGHTS!
