I've driven this route a few times (with a caravan) and it's fine as long as you stay within the speed limit and on the right side of the road. As long as no one drives like an idiot it will be fine.

TBH the highway is not safe either. When I was a kid I was in a rollover accident on 680 when a guy sideswiped my mom's car causing it to cut across 6 lanes of traffic and flip. Everytime you drive you risk something bad happening.

Haha, don't feel bad. We can talk about it at the meet spot. I think the mountain pass will be fine if everyone takes it slow and doesn't try to speedracer the thing! We can check live traffic as well before we roll out.

don't worry about it... its not a big deal

i never drive it and would love to drive that route... i feel like we would have about 5-7 of us so it would be pretty small group and everyone can choose whether they want to sit in traffic or they want to take the mountain road

since southbay is a small group, i'm pretty sure we can come up with something
