5x114.3 Hub Conversion

So, I was reading around, and compiling information about 5x114.3 conversions due to the fact I highly dislike 5x100,
and having 5x114.3 is just a much more convenient thing.

I've noted that the two vendors that offer hub conversions are Hardrace and Megan. Both of which are somewhere in
the price range of $850 and $650 respectively. Both require a different brake kit in the front, and redrilled rear rotors.

Somewhere in the reading, I found that STI front calipers from '04 to '11 are all the same, so it appears the best
"cheap" alternative, is to find some STI front brembos, with any 05+ rotor that's 5x114.3, and that would make the
front brake setup that would work with the hardrace/megan hubs. DBA T4000 rotors are also sufficient, as they are
dual-drilled for 5x100 and 5x114.3. (Which means you could run the STI front brembos on stock hubs as well.)

The rears appear to have many different options for hubs. You could choose to use the Hardrace or Megan 5x114.3
hubs, or you could purchase 08+ STI rear hubs too. Then you could have the rear rotors drilled for 5x114.3, or run
08+ STI Brembos for the rear.

You'll also need to run 20mm spacers on the stock wheels, or find wheels with the proper backspacing to fit the
larger Brembos.

"Cheaper" Option:
04+ STI Brembo front calipers
05+ STI rotors of your choosing (stock or 5x114.3 aftermarket)
Megan Racing front 5x114.3 hubs

08+ STI rear 5x114.3 hubs
Stock Rotors redrilled to 5x114.3

"Expensive" Option
08+ STI Brembos calipers & rotors (front & rear)
Hardrace 5x114.3 hub conversion (front & rear)

**Note: If you purchase DBA T4000 (dual-drilled) rotors, you could use the Brembos with the stock 5x100 until
you decide to convert to 5x114.3.

**I may have made some errors, so if you see any, I can edit it in the original post.

I don't think STI front hubs are compatable on the BRZ. Rears are supposed to work though.

The Megan hubs are the Hardrace hubs with Megan etched on them instead of Hardrace.

STi makes gravel-spec GroupN rotors in 5x114.3. The fronts and rears should both fit the BRZ. They aren't cheap, for all 4 you are looking at like $800+.

http://rallispec.com/bra_kit_rst2621.html, they also sell the rears.

The cheapest option is to just re-drill the stock sized rotors. You don't need new brakes.

I am looking into doing a hub conversion and want to confirm that any STI front caliper 04-11 should work?

Will probably be going with DBA T4000 for the front but for the rear, is there any dual drilled disk at all?

Thanks for the info btw!

The only option I can think of for the rear is either do STI brembos, or you can have a machine shop redrill the rear rotors. I have redrilled stock rear rotors, and I haven't had any issues at all.
