To the guys running the AVO blow off valve, did you have to adjust it? Mine flutters unless it's at higher RPM's (5000+). I'm just wondering if I have to adjust something, or if that's normal

I haven't adjusted mine at all. No fluttering that I can detect at 8-9psi. It is setup completely recirc at the moment, and I can hardly even hear it over the rest of the noise the car makes.

Do you have some sort of intake system besides the standard air box? The fluttering sound can be quite common with a cold air intake system, because so much more intake noise can be heard. Most of the time it's actually from the throttle body.

No flutter, but you are running double my PSI so I am not a good comparison.

In regards to the engine mounts, the AVO BRZ in Japan uses the STI engine mounts:

We've found them to work quite well at all power levels at the track.

To anyone that's looking for a rad upgrade, I can confirm that the Full Blown Rad + Shroud will fit with the AVO setup. The AC condenser will come into contact with the drivers side intercooler charge pipe, but you can either drill a hole to move the bottom rad mount or just press it up against the charge pipe.

Good to know. A rad upgrade is definitely on my list. I know I like the Full Blown oil cooler I got so its nice to see their rad options fits as well.

Notice any improvements on temps?

On the street I'm holding steady around 205f for oil. Sometimes jumps to 210f. But the engine bay is like an oven.

No idea on before and after temps, but when the fans come on you feel a significantly larger amount of heat being pulled through the rad. And by significant, I mean night and day difference to the point where I'm shopping for a vented hood now.

Question GReddy Oil Cooler Kit with AVO?

Any opinions about installing the GReddy Oil Cooler Kit with an AVO stage 1?

...if not, anyone have recommendations?

From how it sits in the front bumper I would say it won't work. It will hit the intercooler. The GReddy kit uses a narrow and tall IC

I use a @FullBlown motorsports oil cooler and have no issues with fit or effectiveness
