New Vortech Maxflow Blow-Off Valve Upgrade for FT86 Supercharging Systems

As many people saw at 86Fest (and tried to buy our display at the show HAHA), we now have a BOV upgrade for your V-3 H67B Supercharging Systems. We had been asked by many of you for an upgrade to the standard valve included in the system, and we have answered with this all new upgrade that should be just like blow-off music to your ears!

[ame="http://youtu.be/O0aY_jRedtE"]www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0aY_jRedtE[/ame]

Features & Benefits on Maxflow Race Blow-Off Valve include:
• Billet aluminum construction
• Large “rolling diaphragm” configuration with dual vent porting allows for quick valve response
• Adaptable to all types of boosted engine installations
• Can be mounted in any position
• Adjustable spring preload
• Mechanically retained valve seal
• Same mounting flange configuration as current Vortech Race Bypass. Direct replacement on VTA (vent-to-atmosphere) applications.
• Anodized finish

just a question, you say this can be utilized for all boost applications, what would be the benefit of running this on a turbo'd car?

How is the spring preload adjusted?

I'm not trying to bash, just interested in how this is different and beneficial for more traditional BOV (Sound is not important to me)

The valve is preset to open at four to five inches of vacuum, and is adjustable via the stud on the top of the valve.

Depending on the competing valve, the benefits will, of course, differ. The Maxflow unit is comparable to many of the well known and trusted brand units, and is superior to any "piston" style valve due to its rolling diaphragm design. Piston style valves must be disassembled and cleaned regularly, as they will accumulate debris inside of them over time, which can cause the valve to stick either open or closed. The rolling diaphragm design of the Maxflow Race Blow-Off Valve does not have such issues, and requires no maintenance of any kind.

Thank you for the answers. So I imagine for this we do not have to worry about any issues with having problems with the diaphragm (I had a few tear on my last car, just very bad luck). There's no maintenence at all?
