The reverse is pretty tough to put in than stock. The lock-out itself feels like it it uses much stronger spring..
The Green Grease is also a lot thicker and sticker than the stock one ..

In cold day it will definite be harder to pull the reverse lock up and since is used on the ball joint it will make it a bit sticky too.

do keep that in mind

I put the on the linkage bolt between the shifter rod and the base of the shifter.

I think is there to minimize left and right play. But i could only put 1 of the oring on. I try to put 2 but have no success of putting the locking pin back on to the linkage bolt with 2.

I thought it was to help with le rattle? I totally forgot to install mine :/ Can't hear the rattle over the exhaust anyway.

I've been running my Kartboy since about the start of the year and absolutely love it! Could be a little higher but other than that, it's perfectooooo. No slop, little rattle but racecarlyfe, shifts perfectly.

Just installed the Kartboy yesterday. The 2 O-rings are there to help with the rattle, but I can only put one. Couldn't get the locking pin/clip back on when I put both on. So far, no rattles.

As for the shifter itself, I love it.

I think the o ring wil help with the rattle and side to side play of the shifter.

Ya i try to put the 2nd one in after i install it for 5 month, and there is just not enough space. Unless some one was able to compress it and put the pin back on. ( maybe from the bottom of the car)
