Is there any way to reboot the unit if touch isn't working? I've had it happen twice now where I can't touch on the screen but the buttons semi-work. Not very reassuring for a new device...

Yeah something's off guys. I've tried multiple ways to get my usb drives working and no luck. I've even tried using multiple usb drives with some music in folders and others not in folders. it's not working. Also, I have extra harnesses hanging around after everything is pretty much installed. Is there an update that could fix the usb issue because I think it's the HU, not the wiring.

No, the specific technology called MirrorLink is not on the Dashlinq. From what I know about MirrorLink, we're not missing anything, as we have apps right on our head unit. No need to run them from a phone.

Do you have them formatted FAT32? No clue if the Dashlinq reads other filesystems, but it's worth asking.

Maybe a dumb question that I should have asked before ordering, but are the wiring harnesses the same between the FR-S and the BRZ Limited heat units?

I don't believe so. Stock radios are completely different for starters

Guess I'm just wondering since it was a joint build with Toyota if it'll plug right into the Subaru harness...I mean the wires are all in the same place, except for maybe the GPS/XM..

Didn't know what FAT32 was until now lol, but that wasn't the problem. I backed up all of my documents and music that was on the drive, formatted it, and re-downloaded everything back on it, but to no avail.

Everything plugged up as it should have, but I have extra harnesses in the back. One of them is what I believe to be the Antenna for the radio, but I'm not worried about that. What's the other one?

It plugs right in. I have a BRZ w/ nav and apart from the rear camera, the harness plugs right in.

No, they definitely are, the BRZ just has a few more plugs due to Sat radio and stuff.

I can't remember exactly what that one is for but you're going to have at least one stock harness hanging there, at least if you don't have the AUX port adapter hooked up. None of that affects USB functionality though, USB is the easiest thing to hook up on this unit, if it's not working I'd contact them because your unit might have an issue.
