Sound deadening
Can anyone comment on the effectiveness of Dynomat sound deadening? Does it really make a difference to "punchier" bass and better sound quality?
I've been quoted $300 inc. installation.

Dynamat will make a difference. But it's installation dependent.

It makes a difference in sound quality and road noise, but you'll never get that Lexus or Mercedes ride quality. |

Where did you get the quote? I bought a ton of dynamatt intending to DIY but haven't been bothered for the past 2 months, the doors are probably the most poorly constructed doors I've seen.

Can't comment on how effective it is in the 86 specifically, but it made a vast improvement in my verada.
I'd certainly recommend it if audio quality is important to you. |

It makes a huge difference. I've sound deadened my doors, boot and parcel shelf. I do recommend doing it if you're an audiophile. If not, don't worry about it. The roof mat still vibrates a little though. =(
