From baseline, does that mean from soft or hard? Sorry noob here. =P

baseline 15/30 30 being full stiff. +10 from basline would be 25/30 aka pretty stiff.

I dig my HKS GTs a lot. The rebound is amazing, feel way more comfortable than the stocks, but add sway bars if you plan to track it.

I have a few customers that either have the SPs or the GTs and i have heard nothing but great responses. HKS has always made high quality products.

Hi guys, noob question I'm sure (I have been searching for the past 10 mins though !) - I have Hipermax GT in 86, I want to soften the front end, the adjustment dial at the bottom of the shock, which way do I turn to soften? Is it anti clockwise like the rear or..? And front adjustment doesn't require any tool like the rear? Cheers !

correct, its upside down so make sure your turning it the right way, but its counter clockwise, and its a little t handle on the bottom of the damper. make sure you dont force it, if its difficult to turn, its already at its max setting.

I just installed the SPs yesterday with the settings left the same from factory. I was surprised with the comfort. My wife rode with me in the car and didn't realize any difference from the stock suspension. However, as the driver you can feel the road through the steering wheel and your bottom. Even though the ride is more firm when driving over rough surfaces the ride is still smooth.

Has anyone on here played around with the damper adjustment in any level of detail in search of comfort?

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand, and our roads are unbelievably bumpy after the earthquakes... I currently have the front and rear on the softest setting, but I almost think the car feels a tad 'bouncy' now, wondering if I should go firmer a few more levels... thinking 'a loud' here, can anyone help?

20 clicks from full stiff( or 10 from full soft) is the most comfortable to me, with zero performance in mind.

We appreciate all the interest in custom spring rates for the Hipermax suspension series. HKS does not currently offer springs individually however we are working with HKS Japan on an efficient way to accommodate everyone's individual needs. Because this is a new program in the US I can't promise results overnight, but I do promise to update the community once a program has been put in place.

I take this comment back re: the SP's being bouncy - I had the rear on full soft, and the front on full hard..... facepalm

A lot better now !
