Double parking is where a parallel parked car is blocked by another car parked next to it in the street, typically with its hazards on while the driver pops into someplace quickly. Parking in 2 spaces is just parking in two spaces. We as a society create terms so we can communicate clearly. Know what you're saying before you say it.
