I'd go elsewhere. I have the Subaru cover and I'm not very fond of it. Does it keep bird shit and leaves off the car? Yes. Does it keep it dry? No. I'm contemplating getting a different one (California, Wolf's) at a later point in time. There also isn't an antenna pocket and my antenna has a slight curve to it now.

Been searching high and low for a car cover that won't ruin my paint. The car's hibernating for winter and even though I have a garage, I'd like to keep the dust off of it.
Was considering the Dustop, but they're too expensive. The one I'm looking at finally went on sale. Comes with a duffle bag when not in use: And a close up of the inner lining: Haven't had the time to put it on yet so not sure of the fitment. But the material is satin stretch so I'm guessing it's gonna fit snug. Cost a little more than the OEM, but I'm confident my paint's going to be fine... |

That looks nice on the inside, do you plan on only using it indoors? I guess I'm a little concerned with the "Indoor" part of the name. I'm using the Subaru one and I do not leave it on if it's going to rain since it is not 100% waterproof.

Yeah, it's just for indoor use. I have a garage. Mostly for dust and scratch protection.

How would this work in the snow? I'm worried about freezing snow / rain scratching up my paint. Living in the North East without a garage that can fit a car is rather frustrating!!

Finally had the chance to put the cover on.
Fits like a glove. Love seeing the faces of people walking by when I have my garage door open. They probably think it's some exotic |

^ Here it is in Canadian Tire (obviously, a canadian store). Not sure if they ship to the states. It's quite pricey at $200, but I got it when it was on sale for $150.

For those of you that have the factory cover, were there any instructions for washing it?
I just got one for free, but it had just been through a flood, so it had a lot of mud in/on it. If I dont get it really clean to my liking, I wont use it on the BRZ. The thought of sand coming out of the seams & scratching the paint worries me. So IF I can wash it a couple of times I would consider it. Otherwise it will be for the track car |
