Haha Chicago tricked you again! Below freezing again next week... I’m tired of it.

Last summer the car weighed in at 2,574lbs. It was gutted.

I removed an additional 97lbs this winter.

Today I added back 14.5lbs

I reinstalled the A,B,C Pillars, headliner and rear quarters. Now to either do a rear seat delete or toss the stocks rear seats and back in. Hmmm

I washed it. It was filthy. We’ve also got another twin in the family. My daughter bought a 2015 BRZ, in a darker blue. She spent the day putting a new head unit in, so I’m jealous.

Found a smokin' deal on brand-new Pilot Sport 4 tires (PS4—not PS4S) on eBay, so I'll be replacing the crapfest OE Bridgestone Turanza EL400-02s this week as soon as the PS4s arrive. Looking forward to predictable wet weather driving.

What wasn't predictable about the stockers?

I can't speak to the Primacy HPs, as mine came with Bridgestone all-seasons, but they're easily the least predictable tires I've driven on in my 30 years of driving.

Mostly okay in warm and dry conditions, but in damp conditions they're very easily upset by road imperfections and throttle application (let alone when the two are combined). In rainy conditions (more than just slightly damp) on highways, it feels like the car is right on the verge of making its own decisions.

Roundabouts and onramps I take regularly are completely different each time I go through them depending on what mood the EL400-02s are in.

Don't get me wrong... I'm all for a bit of sliding fun here and there, but I like it when it's my choice, not the tires'.

(No, they're not worn out. Just over 8K miles on them and apx. 8/32 tread depth.)

I know, I was making a joke. They are predictable because they are always slippery and shitty

Washed the car today. It was dirty as heck. The wheels were the worst. So much brake dust and dirt! I forgot their true color till I cleaned them lol
