The engine stayed in place for 4 more years fortunately. Oh, good old days!
Thank you. The prelude was in great condition with a very strong engine. It was a 5speed 1992 with 1996 Jdm h22a. I was working and single, so I dumped my money into cars. It was fun to drive. I still think about how loud it was when the vtec hit. lol

The accord had cracked motor mounts. I also ended up doing a head gasket, valve job, dist cap, plugs, belts water pump, and brakes on it. I wished I had never bought it. But, I learned a bunch by doing the work.

I agree. People just throw it around and think that it applies to anything they just don't like.

tbh though, I don't agree with the "tasteless" part. It has nothing to do with taste as taste is subjective.

Easy guide to spotting a ricer:

Step 1: Start a race

Step 2: If race does not start as a result of other party backing down; fuckin' ricer.

And the application can change with the fads. In the early 90s nobody would call you a ricer for the tribal graphics all over your car. Try that now and see what happens.

I guess in my mind we all agree that things like multiple stick on vents are tasteless. OK so let's say purely for show, contributing nothing to go. Can we agree? LOL

But many production cars now come festooned with fake vents so they are factory riced.

No but wait doesn't that have the fastest nurburgring time of any hatchback ever including that little AMG one? Perhaps those aero parts aren't as useless as they may seem... Just playing devils advocate I am not one to defend Civics but but but it has to be said.. the thing is dam fast no matter how much fwd it has.

The fake vents are not contributing to aero. It could have the same properties without them. Not critiquing the whole car just the many many fake vents on it.

The Type R is a great car, but for Canada an STI is a much better value proposition IMHO.

Focus RS is also a great if not a greater car in some ways, but Subaru has had many years and significant volumes to develope by far the best value proposition in that segment IMHO.

AH yes the fake vents indeed can't be doing much at all.
