Things I noted about the new tune ( stage 1 93 octane) after 2 days of Blue Ridge Parkway runs:
+smoother power band +3rd gear feels like it pulls stronger +Quieter idle +Change in sound slightly, more of an inline sound than a boxer, quieter for sure with less drone(on a V1 non-resonated) +More torque when engaging next gear, 2nd to 3rd at high rpm just feels more instinctive and faster +easier driveability, just feels smoother -less of a surge at 4k rpm+ (nothing too bad, needle speed relatively stays the same it seems) -less low end torque (2-4k), but maybe better mid range torque? -valve train noise prevalent (vvt raspiness) but less than off-the-shelf tune. -Slightly harder to get going, easier to stall? (could be crazy), had a rough start that almost stalled for the 1st time. -couldn't chirp 2nd Overall satisfied, quicker speeds, smoother car and feels like there is slightly more usuable power. Thanks Shiv for the awesome tune! |

I know this is off topic, but anyway to read the TPMS Id's with OFT or better yet, put new id's in? Would make this unit even better.

I asked this a while ago, but figured I'd try again...anyone know if there is a way to change the splash screen picture? The orange FRS is nice, but was hoping to do something custom.

It is possible to do a custom pic as I know a few customers have already done it. It involves hacking the template file and adding a new background image file. But I have not done it myself so I cannot be of any more help. But you may like the current background pic. |

Can we run any of the V2.0/1 tunes safely or is it best to stay with the ones we have?
