I have no doubt that the wait will be worth it and that the product will deliver in terms performance and reliability. I just wish they would give us a release date or even a month that they're aiming for so people can know what to expect. If they're closing in on the finishing stages of their product development process, it shouldn't be that difficult.

If a company doesn't want to give a release date, then some potential customers will wonder if the company lacks confidence in when the product can be released. Some customers will grow impatient and turn to competing products.

Then again they really don't have an obligation to respond to anything in this forum, but with this many people following this thread, there's a lot of thirst for information that's just not being met. The longer time goes by without any updates of substance, the more frustrated potential customers get.

Because if they give a release date before they are certain, they are only going to risk upsetting more people.

I wouldn't give a date for something before i was sure i could deliver, asking 3 companies testing out a product to do the same is silly. When they are ready, know they can deliver they will give a date.

LOL. This thread has become a good example of a bad example. Maybe we should institute "qualifiers" before anyone can make a contribution. 1. Do you even own an FR-S? If not, go away. If so 2. Do you bring any fundamental intelligence about the subject you are commenting on to the table? If not, go away. If so 3. In the case of this thread, do you have available capital to even make the purchase (cash or credit)? If not, go away. If so, are you still concerned about MPG? If so, move to a different thread. If not 4. Let's hope Innovate offers us a comprehensive solution to the slow turd we all purchased so that those who have thus far made the cut, can stimulate the economy...

I do, thats why I am waiting patiently because I know how much crap can happen during development of a product, especially when you rely on other sources for parts. Its not like Innovate makes the supercharger/manifold in house(I am assuming), they have to gather parts and do their R&D.... and pretty much anything can happen that will delay things. If they want to redesign their manifold due to fitment/performance issues, they can't just go on ebay and buy one... they will need to forward their changes to the place that cast the manifold and wait for them to send an updated one. A lot of R&D is waiting for parts.

Things ALWAYS come up. Its a part of R&D and releasing new products.

As the guy that works in manufacturing that has to solve problems with new products, I can appreciate taking time to release a new product that has been thoroughly tested, because when a product is rushed I am the one that has to solve all the problems with it.

Release dates are so "final". Release dates get pushed back all the time in the R&D industry. Too many times products are released before they are ready and they end up having issues because they are NOT ready for the end consumer 100%.

All the people badmouthing them causing drama are people either not in the market for one, or they feel that they are somehow entitled to the product and that the company owes THEM somehow.

Be happy Innovate even posts in here and that you know this supercharger exists. They could have easily done this development behind closed doors.

Response I got from Innovate earlier this week was as follows:

Not sure if that is more accurate than what was posted in this thread or not, but seeing this I may reconsider options.

I don't appreciate having my post deleted, mods. I understand you need to keep order but you also allow a troll to bash and delete a post that calls him out on it...

If your post was the troll post quoted, and a response to that, they probably removed it since after removing his, and removing your quote, your response wouldn't have made sense anymore.

The period of time this is now stretching over must be causing some pain in the relationship between manufacturer and the distributor. Innov must be boiling

No more downshifting to overtake a car.

Heres a pic from today of me collecting a bunch of additional data with some of innovates external sensor equipment.

Serious road course guys PM me.
