I was stuck with a bad transmission in my charger it was past warranty and not worth fixing Toyota was right next to the dodge dealer and I like a nice sporty car so I didn't want a grannymobile but I wanted better fad millage and a car I could beat on without worrying that I spent a lot on it

The 2.0-liter equipped Dart ran 17.3 seconds at 81.4 mph, and combined with its 0-60 mph time that would have earned it a spot in our list of slowest car tested during 2011. The 1.4-turbo, on the other hand, ran 16.2 seconds at 84.8 mph

not faster then a fr-s/brz...i do like how the dart looks and a SRT version will probably look amazing.

fr-s/brz > dart r/t
dart srt > fr-s/brz

Every time that my wife and I see the Dart beside our FR-S, we say to ourselves "still not that impressed by the Dart.". The FR-S looks smokingly hot compared to the Dart. With the exception of the SRT (which has way more hp), there is no competition. To our eyes, the Dart is still a Neon unless you slap a turbo on it.

The weird part to me the base model is a turbo the r/t is n/a but has a tiger shark motor the srt is a turbo tiger shark I like the look of the dart I think it is better looking then its main competition in the focus I think the fr-s could look alot better then it does the front end of the fr-s was a fail in my book the Hyundai coupe looks way better!

I figured once it was on pavement the claimed numbers would be a huge over exaggeration but I agree it is a sharp looking little cat

Not necessarily a bad car, but they're completely different and most RWD fans can't stand driving FWD.

Hate to say it, but it's true.
I LOVE my friend's modified Si... the transmission is awesome, so is the MPG and fun factor...

but once you drive RWD (or even AWD)... FWD is just not gonna do it for you. Something about RWD just conveys a true sports car feeling to the driver.

The FRS will never be, and never was, about horsepower / numbers. Once you drive one for longer than 20 mins, especially on a long trip with winding roads... you'll totally understand and reach a different sort of appreciation.

I think the biggest fail was for Scion not to have brought over the GT86. It has better headlights, the presence of fog lights, better looking exhaust tips, and the option of a spoiler. All of these things come together and make a better looking package. I can see why people draw comparisons between the Genesis and the FR-S, but, having them beside each other, they are more dissimilar than similar. The Genesis has some good lines, but to me, it just seems to be trying too hard.

I have only owned rwd for the last 5 years but there is a few things I miss from my fwd mainly traction in bad weather and having fun at much slower speeds my Corvette is still sleeping until I hit 90 and the fr-s needs room to play or the right roads

Dude, you live in Phoenix. Define "bad weather" and I'll try not to laugh.

As for the Dart, I dunno. It looks nice and it's a Fiat (which means thankfully, it's not really a Dodge). Buuuut I would never consider it over an FR-S, SRT4 or otherwise. If you feel like you need "the right roads" to have fun in the FR-S, think of the type of roads you'd need to have fun in a 300hp AWD car. More or less the same experience you'd have in the Corvette.
