Did you order the FRS or BRZ?

^From what I've seen Scion, 95% of the time does not charge any fees aside from the regular fees(freight, air, etc). Subaru on the other hand does

Cutting the admin fees will be tough with early demand. Next year should be easier.

^But IMHO dealers can charge fees as long as their up front(not saying that im willing to pay them). But If their practice is to deceive or flip the deal then I would say its not right.

Right now everyone's best chance to get a "good deal" is get a discount on accessories or even "free".

I think Marloon and his 3 Scion deposits would argue against that. Maybe things are different on the west coast?

Scion, like everyone else, has "Documentation Fees". I'm Don't think you can single out any BRAND in particular that doesn't...Dealers on the other hand may be honest about it and waive it or keep it reasonable.

I'm pretty sure that the Subaru Documentation Fee is enforced by the higher ups at head office.

I am not sure yet. I guess when it is all said and done in the end, I will be charged (?) unless they forget about it.

Agreed. It will be tough to cut it knowing how hot this car is and how many people are lined up for it.

I want to ask for free accessories if they do got them such as rubber floor mats and mud flaps.

The best part of having deposits at different dealers is that I can get a quote and pick which is the best for me. Which reminds me to call them to not put a dealership sticker on my soon to be babies. LOL. HATE THAT STUFF. (I might just be okay with them drilling the front hole though)

I am going to fight for every penny knowing that I will be paying something like 600-800/mo for 36 months. Yikes. LOL.

From Toronto, most of the FRS(soon to be owners) did not pay for any fees. Even one of the Scion dealers from montreal (SCIONMONTREAL) does not charge any fees. From what im reading and experienced myself BRZ soon to be owners are the ones being dinged.

Got this from my dealer. He's seemed absolutely great this whole time so don't really have any reason to doubt him.

If this is the case then scion owners should feel lucky. not having a dealer try to charge you for doc fees is the exception not the rule.

I don't know off hand but consider this: Jimmy the billionaire started off as a car salesman. Watch out for any and everything.

As far as I know, all season floor mats and splash guards are standard equipment on every car Toyota Canada sells.
