FR-S rear license plate frame suggestions?
I'm looking for something that holds its shape (so likely metal) with minimal bezels.
My car is white, so I think a black/dark frame would look nice. Lastly, if you think you have a nice frame, please post photos of how it looks on your car. |

I have a clear lens on my Asphalt. I think it looks better than any plate frame.

I got a set of the weathertech frames (in black) with the clear covers
http://www.weathertech.com/clearcover/ Kinda pricey but I like them. |

I don't use a frame. I hate how they look. I put 1/8 inch padding on the back of my plate. Looks clean |

covers arent allowed in some states so be careful with them.
anyone know how you are suppose to install the rear plates? mine didnt come with the screws for the back plates and i was told that they are #14 x 3/4 screws. i tried screwing them in and it works but it doesnt go all the way in... the screws also dont come out anymore as i tried to unscrew it and it looks like the clear plastic piece is all bent out of shape? did i screw up? |

Nothing.
I've sorted through a few and my honest opinion is that the car looks best without one |

Does anyone else have an issue with the actual car not having any holes for the bottom screws in plates/covers? I hate closing my trunk and hearing the plate or cover banging against the car... |

For those of you wearing plates without frames, do you guys have flat plates? All the plates that I've ever gotten do not rest flat, so a frame is pretty much necessary.
Unless you guys know of a good way to straighten these things out. Last edited by tzhu07; 04-22-2020 at 08:11 PM. |
