I'm 6' 3" and it wouldn't work well for me since my feet rest right where that switch would be.

I guess position was different by company? I think our Ford had it over to the right and not directly in line with the foot rest... Can't remember! I see your point though.

Always on the left. You needed your spare foot to operate it.

Double clutch, heel and toe AND dimming your lights at the same time was a b!tch tho.

They weren't that sensitive, it took intentional pressure to make them turn on/off. you could rest your foot on it.
