Rattle noise car interior

I'm having the noise coming from the front. More specifically around the headunit of the radio and also in the glove box (passenger side).

The noise is like contracting hard plastic. If I press hard everywhere, you here a cracking sound and then if you press again there's no sound

Sound is consistent on flat road, highways or bumpy roads... its always there

Anyone else has this problem?

I know it is hard without audio nor video. Also I will be getting it checked by the dealership.

Is there anything in the glovebox loose?

Double check the dampener for the glovebox to see if it's loose.

Double check the cabin air filter cover.

There really isn't much behind the radio, but you can remove the faceplate and torque the radio down some more.

The radio on my '13 BRZ had a rattle. If I pushed the radio to the side it would go away , so I wedged two small pieces of black Velcro (using the soft piece of the pair) between the radio and the plastic trim on the top and the rattle is gone.

Check everything you mentioned... maybe its the door or the vent from the passenger?

Thanks

I had a deck lid noise... what I ended up doing was stuffing foam into the passenger side cervices (the ones that I can feel the cloth cover), and also the crevice where the third brake light wire feeds into.

I also pulled this tab out to make everything tight.

That is still my method even with the FRS. So far it has been successful.

No don't punch the head unit.
Hard open palmed smack on top of the dash above the head unit. May take a couple. (and no I am not joking)
