Odd noise when idling?

Is this normal?

Yep. Welcome to port and direct injection boxer engine ownership. They sound like old Russian farm tractors at idle. You will also hear all sorts of weird noises from the tranny so don't panic.

Appears to be normal. What's that old saying about a Subaru? Something like, if it isn't making weird noises your Subaru is probably broken.

Does it do it with a goat?
Does it do it on a boat?
Does it do it here or there?
Does it do it everywhere?

The car was warmed up already, I think it's gotten louder, I don't remember it being that loud but I'm not sure, I might have to take it to the dealer to get it looked at since it's still under warranty.

Certainly IT WILL BUFF OUT !

And should that fail...Punk Rock surely will help...works for me.

But watch out...these cars are designed to self destruct just past 60,000 miles....coming very soon.
