If no one knew - this stereo runs 4.1.1 and is their new version with upgraded hardware compared to past

I had the last unit, and got the newest one as soon as it came out! HUGE upgrade. Im an android enthusiast, but hate hacking my devices - so i was thrilled this worked out of the box.

Nice head unit. The only down part is the wireless dongle sticking out so much. Doesn't it get in the way while driving?

Looks like it could but to remedy for that is to get a obd2 extension cable and that would take care of that problem.

I would think the dongle is not proprietary and you can use any of the other ODB2 adapters available.

I do highly recommend an extension cable to prevent fatigue on the stock OBD2 connector though...

It's spare on technical details. Looks like it might be a single core? That's disappointing, with the other chinese deck out there stepping it up to dual core.

It is a dual core processor. Heres a link that compares all the ca-fi units.

that was my first thought too.. wasnt bad.

that said, you can easily unscrew the obd2 port and re-configure it so it doesnt get in the way if it bothers you.
