This is my favorite one so far https://www.motor1.com/news/297250/t...Vy-gckuC3aur84

The rendering was originally done for another clickbait site talking about the S-FR... https://drivemag.com/news/toyota-cou...x-5-competitor

But look 2.4L confirmed for next gen 86!!! Probably turbo'd and 600bhp too.

I didn't realize how many people on here also have SW Mr2s. I think now that I own one I started paying more attention. The two cars are surprisingly similar in a lot of ways.

This is from yesterday and there are several like it. Who knows though.

Yeah there are a number of owners on here. I eventually sold my BRZ and filled it's garage spot with another SW20.

If another MR2 really did come out... I'd have to figure out wtf to sell to make space for it.

Every single recent article goes back to one place.
"According to Japanese Nostalgic Car"
If that place made it up then all the rest are parroting trash.

I have a Integra GSR, FRS, and Mr2 turbo. Lately I've thought about downsizing and buying a motorcycle. I'm really considering selling the FRS and keeping the MR2 and everyone I talk to tells me that's crazy, but there is something special about the Mr2 that I have a hard time explaining. Mine is also a hardtop so I feel like I would really regret getting rid of it. It makes me feel better knowing that your sold your BRZ and replaced it with another MR2. Makes me feel less crazy.

Really interested in it since on the japanese news it's said to be a gas + electric assist motor in the wheel like how some of the high end performance hybrids are.

Aka P1, 917,NSX shit.... actually the new Lexus UX hybrid has something similar where the rear wheels can be powered by electric motors for extra 50 hp & turns it into AWD for a while.

Even the S-FR appears to have been totally abandoned for 2 years now.
...actually they're not abandoned. At least so far. iirc It's all depends on how well Supra.

If that's true for the love of all that is holy I hope the Supra sells like hot cakes.

I can't afford a Supra but the S-FR would be awesome

Tow vehicle. Camaro has more than enough torque to tow a Teg.
