High-G Cornering Fueling Solution
I know the twins, when running long high-g corners with relatively low fuel in the tank, can lose fuel pickup and starve the injectors. I have in mind a solution for this that would involve no return line, no additional pumps, and no wiring. It would be a much cheaper solution than the typical multi-pump return system that requires painful installation. It would also only require modding of engine bay fuel lines and installation of the part inside the engine bay, likely next to the battery where there is room.
Would anyone be interested in such a product? I figure I could sell it for about $699 with all fittings, tubing, and possibly even the necessary tools. It's not a typical surge tank. A bit more advanced than that.

No additional pumps? How would your solution work?

Don't want to say right now. Just gauging interest if such a theoretical solution sounds good to people. I hate the though of mucking out in the back in the fuel tank. Too many hours of work. Too dirty. Too much to go wrong.

Assuming I could make it work, is the idea interesting?

I'm thinking this is going to be something like an Accusump for fuel.

How much folks would be willing to pay depends entirely on the proposed solution.

What people will see as a fair price will be almost entirely dependent on what the solution is comprised of, not what it actually accomplishes.
I can say I would pay $300USD, but if i see it is made of a rubber band and two paper clips I will bump that down obviously. Pricing doesn't work how you probably think it does based on your creation of this thread. |

Pricing works on the basis of what people are willing to pay. That has a lot of factors. If you can get a full return system for $1500 to solve a problem that something else can take care of for $500, well, you'd probably be smart to go for the $500 solution. It just depends. I do see, however, that people are having issues. I'll see what I can do.
