Thanks homie. So that yellow just goes right over the reflector huh? Should I even use painters tape? Because doesn't it just go behind the housing anyways? Btw your headlights look sickkk... @ck-GT86

Hmm...I suppose you could, I forgot the reason why I masked it off. Might have been because I wasn't sure how much the housing covered up the chrome parts. Clean up the reflector real good, use some mild soap, and make sure you don't sand it. The spray might foam up a bit, leave it in the sun and it'll go away. And it's important you apply that with light coats only. It wasn't until several, several light coats when I sprayed a little heavier.

Thanks for the compliments!

@Honeydew hello I was just wondering how you did those chrome lines in your headlights? They look awesome!! Did you just use painters tape?

Bump and question.

Has anyone tried using the black chrome spray paint from auto zone? I am wondering if that could potentially be used on the reflectors so you can have the black but not lose the high beams.

For you guys that have used Krylon Fusion, is sanding required? Did you use a adhesion promoter? Any problems with heat affecting the paint? Im trying to decide if I need to go with a high temp paint or if Fusion paint would work ok on my brz. Aiming for maximum longevity.
