Great, so now you can end the S/C vs. T/C debate

So which was the favorite form of forced induction at the meet? Anybody get a ride in an FA20club turbo car?

I know that feeling. It always helps when the turbo is sitting nice and big out in front.

There was another kit but they are not in the forum. (Olympic Motorsports, those of the now famous "torque dip removing dyno sheet").

Their turbo also sits up top, but use a very small turbo. Install looked very clean, I guess they are looking for an absurdly quick spool time.

I got some attention too, lots of compliments of clean install; but when they saw @lexusb3 bad boy sitting up top in his engine bay, I was the ugly duck

I was informed by Kelly that Olympic Motorsports is the one tuning the Treadstone Performance kit. I don't remember if he said Olympic is building their own kit or using a Treadstone kit though. Was it a BorgWarner turbo?

Hmmmmm... that's very interesting. I didn't pay much attention to the turbo as soon as I saw it so tiny. They used to have a different pic on the site, but changed it yesterday. The turbo was more visible before as it was the kit outside of the car. Maybe with the pipe routing you can tell if its the same as Kelly?

That kit is quite a bit different than the Treadstone so it looks like they are making their own. The Treadstone had no BOV and the piping routing was nearly identical to the routing on my Full Blown meaning the output from the turbo was towards the ground before heading towards the headlight area. Very interesting that they mounted the MAF in the intake pipe instead of in the throttle body pipe as well. The throttle body pipe looks identical to the way Full Blown and Treadstone does it other than the MAF not being mounted in the tube and no BOV on the Treadstone although Kelly said they were planning to add one.
