Oh to find a girl to befriend who actually drives one of these twins. Such things are more rare than unicorns.

So I am in Hong Kong for a business trip and did some shopping. Stumbled upon the crazy markets in Kowloon.
There's a street parked with nice tuner exotic and beater cars. Nicest one I saw was an SLS. They are all basically 8 to12 dollars Cheaper but some of them are more expensive than the US.

I saw a set of Valentines taillight for around 280 US dollars and wanted to get them but I can't fit them in my luggage.

So here's a picture of the stuff I picked up... they are stupid but hey I got the lot for less than 15 bucks... Ish..

I'm there every 4 to 6 months. You better get saving. Haha. I don't know anyone there so it wasn't much fun cause I don't know where the stuff are. I just went and walked around and found these crazy places.

I keep going back and forth on the wheels. Exactly what I want except color.

This thread looks like its dying.

Anyways. I got a letter in the mail from Subaru stating that my vehicle is chosen to do a emission testing conducted by a contracted Engineering company in Ann Arbor. It is up to me if I want to comply.

They will lend me a 2014 Subaru (model not specified) as a loaner for the duration of the testing. They will also pay 200 dollars after the test.

The test will be conducted between Oct-Dec and will take up to three weeks. The car will be in a rolling dyno most of the testing and will accumulate up to 200 miles after the test. Any parts that need to be replaced for better emission will be replaced. The car will be cleaned and topped up on fuel after.

Any opinions or know anything about it? I am not going to do it but I figured i'd share it.

Garage
At the request of Karigan, and a few others on here....
The next (and I think final) autocross of the year is this Sunday in Livonia, at the police training center:

Details here:
http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/...event_id=14742

This is very easy to get to, right off I96 and Middlebelt road.
Cost to watch: FREE
Cost to Ride: Free
Cost to Race: 35 dollars or so?

This will be the final event for the year in my FR-S I think, and I'm more than willing to take some people for rides, but I highly encourage you to enter your car and compete. It's not hard on the car, there's nothing to hit, several other novices there, and you'll have a great time. Hope to see some people out there either way.
