I got it the same place everyone else is getting them from, just skipping the middle man. I miss out on the group buy reduced price but avoid shipping cross two borders.

I selfishly wish the part number would have never been posted on this site. I wonder if the US vendors that have this now are whats causing supply delays due to fulfilling their orders

Posts #1, 28 and 46 are pretty on point with the instructions. If I can find anything of value or any tips besides that, I'll definitely share!

any idea if the official US/Canada version is going to be any different than the one that you guys are getting from Europe? I wonder if Toyota US can come up with an armrest that looks like the Europe one, but functionally doesn't block the passenger when opened.

I was thinking about one that slid back, so when it's a cup holder for the front, it's an armrest for the back seats. Ideas?

Yea i was thinking either that slides or a pivot that you can flip the arm rest up to not create a big wall blocking the passenger.

i gotta say, as much as the OEM armrest is a beautiful matching design, it's not really functional for people who actually use the cup holder.

I don't really understand the cup holder argument. You have a total of 4 cup holders in the front.

cause i have a glass bottle. i don't keep plastic bottles in car. Glass bottles are heavy so if you leave it in the door cup holder it shifts and bangs on the door when driving. Not to mention if i open the door and close it it'll bang even more.
