I've had a couple of good discussions with tC owners, and I was one myself.
And if they're bitter, well, they're welcome to do exactly what I did...

tC owners are not bitter. I know more tC owners who bought 2013 tC instead of FRS. Even after driving both of them. I love the FRS. But I would NEVER trade in my tC for an FRS. You guys need to chill... I don't think supra owners talked crap about mr2 or celica owners.
And don't be surprised if all tC owners want to race your ass when your car not making more whp than the new tC. Me for one also want to see how my tC stack up against an FRS. Even tho that im sure I will lose. |

Their just mad cause the dealer probably talked them into a release version or upgrade package that brought the price up to about the same as a new FR-S but now they are stuck with the worse car of the 2.

I've only had positive responses from tC owners. Few thumbs up and encouragements. I think generally they are pretty happy with their choice. the tC is a better day to day car than the FR-S where I am, much more cargo room, nice conveniences and no doubts for winter driving. I feel like the tC isn't a competitor to the FR-S. They are different cars for different lifestyles.
Seems as I go through these comments, we are just as bad by pointing fingers at them saying they have the "worst of the two" when lots of people don't have the life styles that allow them to park an FR-S in the garage every night. |

you seem like a perfect example of your own stereo type... I do not enjoy FWD cars but apparently some people do...and there are haters everywhere...I get very little grief in My BRZ, but I don't sit around in my car waiting and craving attention for my car, alot of newcomers to the scene do just that, they feel they are special and they expect people to acknowledge them, and therefore put alot of weight in the perception of others actions around them. As far as Rado's car goes...last time I strapped it down to the Dyno, it looked Just like a TC underneath (since it is a production chassis that has been modified, and not really all that heavily to be honest....) It has a factory block and head...im not sure what else you could ask of the guy... |

I've met a few like that, every brand has them.
Edit: When i was set to buy the FRS, all the of the sales people kept telling me to check out the TC and buy it. Odd... |

Uhhmm... what are you talking about? You can buy a new rs8 tC slap a turbo on it and it would be still cheaper than the FRS. I didn't see an FRS under $30 grand yet. |

I really like what the tC represents. Interior wise it is kinda like a Celica and it does have a well integrated back seat. Agreed it is "sporty" not sports. I'm sure many tC owners would trade for an FR-S but still many wouldn't.
In general there is probably more attention or interest from other Scion owners, especially ones who went sporty.

same, payed 24515 for mine. Dealership where I bought mine currently has a Release Version 8 for sale for over 25k lulz. They are selling regular TC's for about 23k as well. My FR-S had been sitting on the lot for almost a month as well as noone wants them here for whatever reason. They have a whiteout there as well that has been there for almost 4 months.
