I think all the issues coming from people are really just street issues so far.

In my case donutfilling is correct. Just mild to aggressive street driving. No where near what I would experience at the track but enough for my TCS to go off more than expected. Typically, i'd expect TCS go off less with a good suspension setup.

Keep in mind I'm on the R1s. These guys with the R2s are able to dial these in better. I would argue though that a high quality single knob setup is more difficult to R&D because more time is involved but ultimately is better for the customer since the ratios of bump vs. rebound is at the best possible compromise. That's what I expected from previous setups i've had but learned my lesson here.

Still hoping I can provide a shining review for these R1s once I get my set back.

Hey guys,

I just want everyone to know that I'm following the open threads and we will do what we can to "fix" any of the open issues currently going on with the select users out there.

I think a good thing to keep in mind is that the R1 and R2 coilovers are going to be more track oriented than street. Some ride quality will have to be sacrificed for performance. If anyone is looking for comfort>track performance then the Pro-Street-S coilover might be the better option as we have not had a single complaint on these.

Also, we did lots and lots of road testing with these coilovers before releasing them. I personally have only track tested these coilovers at Buttonwillow with @mines13 and they felt great with 400/400lb rates. I haven't heard or felt the clunking or skipping some of you are experiencing on the street but this is being addressed with our engineers and techs.

If anyone has any future concerns or issues you can PM and I'll do my best to reply promptly and get you in touch with the appropriate department here at Eibach.

I haven't sold a set of Pro-Streets at all, gave a few quotes but not a single order. I didn't expect there to be any disappointment with these or i wouldn't have sold them, hopefully everything gets resolved soon and you guys get your money's worth. If there is anything i can do for anybody that ordered please let me know.

Question:

When I was doing the alignment yesterday I realized that the camber plates only allowed me to max out at -1.2. I thought more about the plates and remembered when I installed them it seemed odd to be that they weren't perpendicular to the fender. Does anyone know how you can loosen the camber plate?

I think I need to spin it one degree to the right. When I installed them it didn't seem like it could be done. I figured they were mount ready from Eibach but apparently they weren't? The bottom of the assembly lined up to the bolts in this position, which is why I mounted this way.

You are correct they are not installed correctly - rotate clockwise one position of bolts and then you can get correct alignment orientation.

The tops can be rotated as long as you hold the bottom of the struts for grip - they are not fixed in place.

I had to rotate my plates as well before installation since they were not aligned with the strut lower half of my fronts.

Your shocks/plates are definitely mounted incorrectly. Maybe that's why you've been getting weird noises.

@swift996, the Eibach lettering should be closest to the bottom bolt (closest to the front of the car).

Mount the plates properly first, and then twist the whole shock assembly so that the knuckle lines up properly with the wheel hub. Also make sure you install the right shock on the right side of the car. The serial number of the shock will indicate a "R" for the right side, and vice versa.

He needs to rotate it one direction counter-clockwise.

Perhaps a visual representation is better (driver's side: top is toward the rear, bottom is towards the front). This is how I had mine. This provides camber and caster adjustment this way. There were no instructions on it so if I had done it the wrong way pls advise.



I love the way they went about the collar spring perches and I also commend the top hat/plate design. Very functional and the machining was top knotch. It was a bit annoying when some bolts in the kit were standard and some were metric but only mechanics would notice that.

You sure the top plates have caster adjustment? You can only move the shock side to side for camber, not front and back for caster.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I don't know if I'll have enough time to remount and get an alignment.

Do you think it would better to leave as is or remount and go w/o an alignment? I'm about to take a 300 mile or so trip.
