Scion VS Toyota

When I initially got the car I hated the Scion emblems. I kept telling myself that when I had the time I would replace them with Toyota emblems....

2 months later the Scion Emblems has definitely grown on me. The gunmetal vs the chrome emblems have also grown on me.

Anybody else?

I never really had a problem with the Scion emblems honestly. But I do like it better than the chrome finish. Either way, even if the car came with Toyota emblems, makes no difference to me.

The emblems are fine. It's not worth swapping because the paperwork will always say Scion FR-S. Put that money towards a sharkfin from beatsonic.

I never jumped on the Toyota badge bandwagon because I never understood what was wrong with the Scion ones. No offense to the people that did swap because I admire custom builds that everyone does.

I think the Scion emblems make ours unique unlike overseas GT 86. I added fog lights to mine to make it very similar.

I just hate the fact that they have studs through the bumper and trunk otherwise I'd loose the emblems all together. Already ditched the FRS badge.
My Integra GSR was fully debadged and had a JDM front, every time I got pulled over the cop would ask me "ugh what kind of car is this" ugh it's on the insurance card I just handed you idiot.

Working on custom badges if anyone might be interested. They'll be a lot cheaper than going for the Toyota ones. They'll incorporate the 86 logo and a few other ideas in my thread if you want to check it out.

The paperwork for mine reads:

Make: Toyota
Model: Scion FR-S

So according to my paperwork it is a Toyota.

I rock the Scion badges though.

My registration has Toyota as the make as well. My tC has Scion as the make. The 86 in Japan/Europe is the real deal. It's in a no way a Scion unless you're talking about the RS.
