New OEM BRZ Gauge Cluster. Zero Miles! Convert your FR-S

I purchased this for R&D purposes, however it was never utilized or mounted in a vehicle. Zero Miles!

It is in Brand New condition, fresh from the factory.

I had some connections to get this. If you order one now, they ask for VIN and mileage, and try to figure out why you are ordering a cluster. When I purchased this, it was the only one in US inventory.

I tried to order an FR-S unit as well and Toyota wouldn't sell!

You can buy this, convert, and sell your FR-S unit.
Also good for those of you who are using the FA20 in another chassis and need the cluster.

Looks awesome at night, lights up RED.

Asking $350 shipped. It will ship with signature confirmation & insurance.

Please PM me or email brady at modern measurement .com

Thanks Dave!

Those with FR-S can probably sell the FR-S cluster for a similar amount as this one, resulting in a near zero net cost to convert!

Upgrade from the white light to a mature red

In your last pic at the bottom corner of the bezel, is that just plastic wrap or a tab, it's kinda blurry and looks like a little bit of damage ?

There is absolutely no damage. It's in brand new condition, fresh out of the box, still in Subaru bubble wrap.

You'll see that on both corners in the pictures, I think it's an optical illusion looking through to the tab below.

I had a dealership scratch my cluster and I want a new one. Do we know if the miles stay with the cluster or get pulled from the ECU?

I know for a fact that it is plug and play, bolts right in.

As for reprogramming, from the information I have, it may have to be linked at the dealer to match the body control unit. If anyone here works at the dealer and is familiar with the replacement process, I would love to hear from them regarding this.

I know on NASIOC, people have been swapping 2010-2012 clusters around, which speak on the same CANBUS network.

One quote from a member there was,

Quote:
Ok guys GREAT NEWS!!!!!

Just swapped my 2011 WRX cluster with 2010 Sti cluster and all works perfectly!!!!!

Shift light and buzzer work

Things you need to do:

Most important, a dealer will need to re register your immobilizer with the new cluster so the car will start!! My local dealer did it for free!!!

Drive your car to your local dealer and take a Phillips head screw driver, the cowl around cluster simply pulls off and then remove the two screws, unplug your cluster and presto!!! It's a 1 minute job!!

Swap cluster over then have the dealer register your immobilizer!!"
The dealer can match your mileage at that moment as well.

In selling this, I am not certain if this same process applies to the BRZ/FR-S, or if it just plugs in and obtains it's data from the body control unit.

Dealer can program the mileage from the data I have. They have a software tool for doing this when they replace the cluster. Anyone from a dealer care to correct me if I'm wrong?

Ok. I'll give my dealership (not the guys who scratched it) to verify.

On most Nissan's we have to order them already programmed with the mileage, not sure if there is a way to reprogram it.
