What is confusing me is that there is a cyan cell that DOES move when I rev the engine. Also the numbers for "Throttle" and "Raw Throttle" in the top right panel do change when I rev the engine, which would suggest that the throttle tap is working.

Anyone have any insight here?

At the top left there's an RPM and a load index. Are they reading anything? RPM should read your current RPM with the engine on and load should be the % of throttle you put on the gas. So if you tap it a little bit it should jump to like 15-20%.

We're both in need of harnesses. @WRB5titch tried adapters but no dice. We'll need some TLC from @Shiv@Openflash

Sounds like you need to resolder the female adapter.

Success! The throttle tap was fine.

I have one of the very early kits, my throttle switch doesn't have a 3.5mm jack, its just a straight wire all the way to the controller. So I just cut the wire, cut the jack off the Procede harness and connected the wires. But the ESC wire actually has two conductors, the inner red wire (on mine anyways) and the outer shield wire. I had connected to the red wire, but it wanted to be connected to the shield wire.

What really threw me off was the first post in this thread explicitly says the yellow cell should move if the throttle is tapped correctly, but my yellow cell (still) never moves. There is a blue cell that moves around. @Shiv@Openflash you might want to update that.

so got the procede working...sport map is pretty vicious...gonna give the standard map a swing, but i've got a feeling we're gonna need to find a middle ground between sport and standard for e85 users.

Yeah. I'm on 91 for a while. So you guys are going to have to tweak things.

Not a tuner here, so if @Shiv@Openflash would like some feedback about the e85 tune/map, I'm sure @WRB5titch and I would be glad to give it. Going to take 5titch's approach on soldering the jack. If that doesn't work an email directly to Shiv on the harness will be next. In either case, I'm sure the e85 tune just needs some dialing in to accommodate for all that extra e85 power, I just don't feel comfortable doing it all by myself. Lot's of helping hands on deck for the man of the hour though.

I saw shiv working on it. I've got the gist of it but I can't test it.

Alright guys. I decided to modify the Procede map. This map tries to protect the engine at low rpms to not engage the phantom. It also ramps up slower than the standard map, but it is active across more of the RPM band.

Its a mix and match type of map. I do not take responsibility if you screw things up or my map screws something up. I drove this around on my car on 91 and it felt great, not sure about e85.

So I just did a quick run to town and back with this map. Definitely liking it. It's the middle ground between standard and sport i was looking for.

Boost comes on nice and smooth, feels pretty natural on e85 when you engage boost in 5-6 doing 70mph. But you still get that kick when esc engages at lower speeds. Boost doesn't feel as vicious as Sport map, but it's definitely noticeable, which I love. Comes on a bit later, at around 40% throttle instead of sport map's 35%.

Standard was a bit too tame for me. I love how strong sport kicked in, but it's difficult to drive smoothly and could be a handful in the rain. @Sojhinn's map is pretty damn close to the sweet spot for e85 imo. You still get the kick (to a lesser degree) of the sport map and control of the standard map.

win win in my book.

Thanks for the heads up @WRB5titch. If you want me to switch anything up let me know.

On a side not Let me know if the phantom engages at 2500 rpms with low load( 5th or 6th at around 60 mph) It shouldn't bog or really activate boost but it may activate prespooling.
