Hate the feel of the clutch
What can I do? I is damn near binary, on/off and way to the floor for engagement.
Every manual (long time ago I admit) the clutch start slipping way earlier. What I want is contact more in-line with my gas peddle. As I add throttle, I'm finalizing release of the clutch. Get me? Is this adjustable? Car will go in on Friday, I can have them do that while its there. Ron |

My best advice to you is, being that I myself first hated the clutch and could not stand it. 1,000 miles later I couldn't be any happier with it, driven way heavier clutches, more engaged clutches(feel), all i can say is that I am more than happy with this clutch. What you put into it is what you get, it was trial and error learning the clutch and I can say now i love it the way it is, upshifts, downshifts, hill starts, etc. Couldn't be any happier! My piece of advice is just give yourself more time, keep practicing over and over, don't deprive yourself if your still messing up because once you get it you'll love it!

Should drive an RSX type S. they have a surprisingly short pedal travel. Especially compared to an 8th gen Si.

Different feel and ergonomics. Comes with repetition and muscle memory.
I've adjusted myself to it. If I revise the pedal, I'll have to re-learn it all over. The pressure required is definitely in my comfort zone. I've had worse 8)

My first 3 months was horrid, some days I would jerk my car a little because I missed my RPM only by 100, and some other days it would be as smooth as butter. Eventually I got it down and now I can downshift and upshift it just by the sound of the engine and without even looking at the gauge!

I had a tuner shop adjust mine to set at height in line with the gas pedal and also to engage sooner.
If you want a stiffer clutch feel, you could try a lightweight flywheel. I test drove another fr-s with a perrin flywheel and it had a stiffer and abrupt engagement feel. |

Its so light and its way down in the bottom of travel. I am just used to having the activity of both feet more inline with each other. |
