retro TRD gear knob

Anyone try or would think this would fit on the 86, I think this would look pretty damn cool in my 86 GT.

I have this knob, it fits the 86 perfectly, reverse lockout works. It’s too small for my liking though. Ended up using it on the transfer case selector of my 4x4

^^^ Agreed, I had one in my 2ZZ Spyder for a while. It is small and not weighted. I actually removed it and now use a 86 knob for my 6 speed.

It’s almost as small as a golf ball

after having the TRD knob side by side with the OEM 86 knob The size is fine for me, have a look at some of the photos I took side by side with the OEM unit (I don't know how to get the photo's to imbed), the difference in size is not that sustainable and the smaller size feels much better imo its significantly lighter as well (Which some people don't like).I like the carbon fibre effect it matches my interior and the TRD product feels like quality piece. The only thing i don't like is the little bit between the knob and the lockout that used to be covered by the old gear knob is exposed now but its hardly noticeable so its fine.
