You can get it delivered if you don't mind $6/gal http://www.maperformance.com/55-gall...cing-fuel.html There are also a selection of caddies here, that might make it easier to tote even more http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...n+fuel-caddies |

Same here - 21 miles to the nearest station with e85. I can't for the life of me figure out why there is no e85 in northern viriginia. They've got it in DC and Maryland, and elsewhere in Virginia. Used to be able to get it at the gas station at the pentagon and and ft. belvoir, but even those are gone now.

An article mentioning ESC
"at least one of the new-age technologies AMG is currently looking at is electric turbo charging, where the compressor is powered by an electric motor rather than the exhaust gases and can therefore provide maximum boost earlier in the rev range and be better controlled for greater fuel consumption benefits." http://www.drive.com.au/motor-news/m...707-zsrmn.html Last edited by keen as; 07-07-2014 at 01:56 AM. |

is the new 1.5 dump tune only for cars that also have the OFH installed?. I just flashed the new beta 1.5 dump map. and the car is very sluggish.
I used the 93oct ESC 1.5 tune.

Did you let it idle for a few minutes after flashing (no touch the go pedal). If you just started driving it feels pretty bad for like 40km.

at first when the esc came on I can hear it spinning but the car was actually slowing down even while in WOT. kinda weird. not sure what's going on. switch back to the original phantom tune and everything is fine... gonna stay with the original tune untill i get the OFH, and i'll give it another shot. hopefully it'll be out of beta by then.

You can also pedal pump to make sure your throttle position is accurate. This is done by alternating sets of ten-twenty full compression presses with key off, key on no ignition, and key off again. It's not prevention for the no-VVT mode that idling is supposed to solve, but it makes it so you don't have pedal learning for that first while.
Side note unrelated to this -- I noticed that my steering wheel is off center by about an inch. I'm assuming this happened while the battery was disconnected. Is there an easy way to reset steering wheel position? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The electric motor on the steering is only used for boost for the powered rack. The steering wheel being off by an inch is more then likely an alignment issue. Resolve this ASAP before you get asymmetrical wear on your tires.

Full throttle Electric Supercharger Build Thread
Interesting, I wonder what happened there. I'll take it in and get it looked at ASAP. Thanks for the heads up on the motor.
EDIT: sure enough, took her in and had a decent amount of toe-in on the front driver side. Those things don't just happen, so I wonder if my wife had a run-in with a curb or something she didn't want to share. The weirdest part is that I'm lowered enough that I can't imagine hitting a curb without damaging anything else, unless maybe the wheel was turned and only the tire hit something. I suppose it could have just been natural slip too, but I feel like I would have caught it over time. My luck with other people this month is going to turn me into one of those super protective types... When it rains it pours I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
