In the youtube comments;

"The GT86 blew a head gasket, so interior shots are from his mates turbocharged, 1UZ powered E36. Simple as that "

Shame the producers left out this rather important bit of info

An aside but Fredric is a genuinely nice guy. He sat next to me at my table at the Long Beach 86 Event dinner last year. He is just as he seems in this video, friendly, engaging and passionate about what he does.

I subscribe to the MT Channel so I saw this feed when it first came out - I coulda sworn MT named it "Snow drifting with F:aasboi". I initially thought that was a gimmicky name but it turns out a rather awesome coincidence! Frederick Aasbo (note there is no "i" at the end of his last name) = F.Aasbo!

That is awesome!

Love the Cressida drifting - I grew up with Cressida and Corollas. I really miss that brand - they are still the epitome of Hong Kong taxis as they are still used there for that purpose although rare since most of them are now Crowns.

I was gonna say, I kinda enjoyed more watching the Cressida drifting than anything.

Was that a Cressida?????????????? Omg when I visited Saudi they had tons of them hookd up too. I would never imagine seeing that car drifting in such a cold climate.

Why not? Cressidas were the higher end luxury Toyotas back in the day and almost all were RWDs. I remember them for being very plush, comfortable and smooth as silk. Not bashing our family's 1985 Corolla but the Corolla, in clothing terms, is a great shirt with an awesome pair of jeans but the Cressida felt like a well picked suit and shirt combo.

Then Lexus came around and made it a full on 3 piece power suit.
