Now before I continue just remember that these are off a RHD version, however the layout on these cars seem somewhat interchangeable.

Subscribed, i'm thinking about getting the buttons, a/c rings, steering wheel piece, and door handles. I can wrap the shifter surround, radio bezel, and door grip covers.

Just for you i'll requote this post :

High Spec
SU003-02484 6MT (GT)
SU003-02485 6AT (GT)
You want the low spec part number. The links that I provided have the part number listed so you can see which button is for what transmission type.

FYI the AUTO buttons are more expensive (because of the extra button for snow/sport mode).

And, in the larger scheme of my budget I'm spending about $2k modifying the interior and electronics to have a car setup exactly how I want.

Also, even after spending $2k, still this car is pretty inexpensive considering what's out there.

Now, for the record -- much of my plans are based on blacking out most of the dash. So, $130 dollars for buttons? Absolutely Nuts! No question. $130 for a buttery smooth silky interior of awesome? Totally worth it.

I guess I've surrendered to the notion that sometimes commitment to design costs a little more $$$

You don't have to buy them & I'm an Apple fanboy -- so of course I would say such things...
I bet it would be cheaper to get someone with a 3D printer make them for you.
Its buttons, something you nor anyone would not give a second though about after they are installed...

RE: printer --Doubt it. And I'll notice silver buttons when I black out the shifter; that would look so lame.

And, btw -- did you see they are actually $60 now through the other site?

yeah, datsa lotta munie!! The only drawback of painting the buttons is a. they're backlit and b. you have to find a way to re-label them somehow.

What I want to do is paint the silver plastics with a better metallic finish paint so they actually look like metal instead of painted plastic. I wonder if an engraver can very lightly engrave "trac" and "vsc sport" on the buttons or if they're too thin to do that.
