https://jacksonracing.com/product/fr...toroil-cooler/ According to their site it is "thermostatically controlled via cooling system" I don't think it's a traditional thermostatic sandwich plate. It would warm the oil via the coolant as it was warmed. It will not allow the oil to be overcooled (One of my concerns) It's supposed to keep both fluids within 30F, which is ideal. I've also read to use a standalone cooler for FI systems on track. But, that's up for debate like everything else. They're proven for NA applications from what I've read. https://jacksonracing.com/product/fr...toroil-cooler/ |

Wait. Isn't that exactly what the JR radiator does? I thought the oil circuit is oil-to-water on the left side. I think you guys are putting too much into this.

So, the "thermostat" is just the coolant thermostat. Functionally, the difference between this and the Forester cooler is that the Forester cooler runs water parallel to the heater circuit which is NOT thermostatically controlled. Therefore it heats the oil faster. IMO, the thermostat thing is academic because the heat-shedding capacity of the Forester cooler is laughable.

Yes it does. But, I am suspecting, it is only doing effective oil-to-water heat exchange when water thermostat is allowing the coolant circulation through the radiator. At the same time, air-to-oil cooling is always happening if there is no oil thermostat which is not good in my mind. Maybe I am reading too much into this. It is my skeptic side I guess, I wanted to buy this thing so many times and I could not click that "pay" button.

Also, my oil will be at the proper temps when driving normally. Just as high priority. I can't speak to the Forester cooler. I've done lots of research but that one fell off right from the get go. I don't remember. |

I think you're right. But, it doesn't take long for the coolant to warm up and open the thermostat. All of us should be taking it easy until we're up to normal operating temps anyways. So, IMHO it won't make much difference. |

Booked it in for a service apointment. The Window alignment appears to be off when I am "rolling" the window up. It pops outward and sometimes will realign as it closes.
I'm also eyeing a set of OZ superleggera's. O.O |

They do match the red! It’s the same rotor as the Performance Package ones, but the calipers aren’t
